All members who enter any event will be classed as a racer and are expected to follow these racing rules.
1. Age requirement
1.1. If you are 16 years or over and under 18 years old, you are on a probationary/trial period, until admins decide otherwise and can be removed for any reason.
1.2. If you are 18 years old or over, the above rule (1.1.) does not apply to you.
2. Car Selection
2.1. It is essential for racers to be in the correct car when the race is about to start. Starting in the wrong car or one with an incorrect setup will result in a post-race penalty of at least one minute.
2.2. The host has the right to kick a racer, if they are not in the correct car, after being messaged.
3. Starting the race
3.1. Turn 1 is known for its potential for incidents during the first lap. To enhance safety and improve the overall experience, we encourage everyone to approach Turn 1 on lap 1 with awareness.
4. Driving standards:
4.1. You must enable the Radar or Proximity Radar turned on.
– To do this in Forza Motorsport: Go to Settings > Gameplay & Hud and turn it to On
– In Assetto Corsa Competizione, this feature is enabled by default. If you have turned it off, please enable it.
4.2. Racers must always do their utmost to avoid contact with other cars while on track. This is especially important during the opening lap and when in close proximity to multiple vehicles. At no point should a car be driven unnecessarily slowly, erratically, or in any way that could be considered potentially dangerous.
4.3. If your car becomes sideways or backwards on the track, please take a moment to ensure it’s safe before turning around to continue your race.
4.4. A racer is expected to race in a safe manner at all times. Any on track action that is deemed reckless or unsafe, may receive a warning or penalty, depending how reckless or unsafe.
4.5. If a racer is found not to be playing fair, for any reason, they may face penalties.
5. Racing Flags/Lights
5.1. If flags / Lights are not supported in game, please be aware of your surroundings.
5.2. The flags you may see in the game and there meaning:
Green Flag
- Shown to indicate the end of danger and for ban on overtaking.
Yellow Flag
- Indicator danger and overtaking is prohibited and to slow down.
Double Yellow Flag
- Indicator danger and overtaking is prohibited and to slow down and prepare to stop.
Blue Flag
- You are about to be lapped and to let the other car overtake.
White Flag
- Slower car ahead.
Red Flag
- The session has been been stopped.
Black Flag
- You have been disqualified.
Black with Orange Circle Flag
- Mechanical problems and that you must go to the pit.
Chequred Flag
- The end of the session.
Red and Yellow Stripped Flag
- Warns racers that the track is slippery.
Black and White Flag
- Unsporting behaviour.
6. Track limits
6.1. A racer is considered to have left the track if all wheels are outside the white/yellow lines.
6.2. A racer who has left the track for any reason, may only re-join, if it is safe to do so without gaining an advantage or causing disadvantage to another racer.
6.3. A racer must not deliberately cut the track to gain an advantage.
7. Overtaking/Defending positions
7.1. Actions that hinder other cars, such as deliberately forcing a car off the track or making any abnormal changes in direction, such as weaving on a straight, are not allowed and may face penalties
7.2. When overtaking another car, racers must make a reasonable effort to avoid hitting the other vehicle. They should not make dangerous or unnecessary moves to pass. The racer who is overtaking is responsible for preventing accidents. Racers who cause accidents by overtaking dangerously may face penalties.
7.3. A defending car must know when to yield their position to the vehicle that is overtaking. Any actions taken to defend their position that are considered dangerous may result in penalties.
7.4. If a racer is being lapped and ghosting is not enabled, they will need to allow the faster racer(s) to pass. You can then help by easing off the throttle.
7.5. If a racer is being lapped and racing for position, try to allow the faster racer(s) to pass without disadvantage to the faster racers.
8. Attendance
8.1. By selecting the days you are available in Channels & Roles under “What Days can you race?” you will be expected to make every effort to attend every event.
8.2. Racers must react to event availability messages, when they are pinged/at’ed in the event channels.
There will be and
symbols. Drivers are expected to have chosen either the tick or cross symbol at least 2 hours before the event starts.
8.3. Racers who haven’t joined by 8.15pm, without providing a message of the reason for them having problems joining a lobby, will be classed as not attending and be noticed for absence.
8.4. For every absence a racer is notated for and may receive a warning for being absences, this will be at the discretion of the admin(s) or host.
9. Voice chat
9.1. During races keep talking in the voice chat at a minimum, since it can be distracting for other racers.
9.2. Be respectful at all times when in voice chat using the Xbox or Discord Voice System; This means no mean, rude, or harassing comments. Treat others the way you want to be treated. If you continue to be disrespectful, it may result in penalties, being kicked or banned.
10. Lobby restart
10.1. If one person gets disconnected during or late to a race, the lobby will not be restarted.
10.2. If more than 3 racers get disconnected or have glitches within the first 5 minutes of a race, the race will be restarted with a random grid.
10.3. If more than 3 racers get disconnected or have glitches after 5 minutes of a race, the race will be restarted with a random grid and half points. The host also has the option to lower the laps, to complete the race within a reasonable timeframe.
10.4. If any racer begins the race with a glitch that has any effect on another racer, the race will be restarted with a random grid.
10.5. If the host decides to create a new lobby, you will be invited and will start with a random grid.
10.6. If a host asked you to return to the lobby, it is expected that you do.
11. Incidents with other racer(s)
10.1. Try and discuss any incidents with the other racer(s) involved after the race in a friendly manner. If you feel stressed about the incident, then take some time to calm down;
10.2. Review any replays (if you saved the replay), videos you recorded or streams of the incident and resolve it in a mature way via DM (Direct Message).
10.3. Do not make angry posts about it in any of the discord channels.
10.4. If you cannot resolve the problem then please Open a Report in #how-to-report within 72 hours of the race finishing.
12. Penalty points
12.1.If a racer is found to be break any of our rules, you may receive a penalty, depending on the rule(s) broken and how it was broken
12.2. Racing event penalties
A racer may receive one of the following penalties for breaking our racing rules, depending on the rule that was broken.
– Up to 3 warnings, then if the racer continues to break the rule(s), will receive one of the below penalties
– Points deduction.
– Time Penalty can also be issued.
– 1 race ban.
– 2 race bans.
– 3 race bans.
– 1 month racing ban.
– 3 months racing ban.
– 1 year racing ban.
– Lifetime racing ban.
